Who was the first Treadstone assassin?

The one who crashed thru the window of Bourne's apartment in Paris?

reply

Anyone?

reply

It's been years since I've seen this... but it just started on AMC and I'm watching it again --- although I'm breaking my own rule of never to watch edited movies on television.

reply

Let me know when you find out.

reply

Bueller? Bueller?

reply

No one yet?

reply

Re-watch the DVD and see which face matches with which city. Wasn't Clive Owen "Bern?" I think they all were cities and Bourne was "Paris."

reply

This guy was Rome.

It took like twenty-five viewings for me to realize that neither Rome nor Clive Owen had any personal animus against Bourne. Rome throws himself out the window when his mission fails; Clive Owen is riddled with shotgun bullets and sits like an old lady commiserating with Bourne about his headaches. There's *so* much to this movie the over-emphasis on physical action makes you overlook. Roger Ebert panned the five-minute chase/carnage scene, and now I see why. The whole Treadstone program would have been so interesting to learn more about.

So what actor played the Rome assassin?

Just found out. It was the Castel person (Nicky Naude).
