'Perfect' movie?

I know I make posts about this alot on here, but I'm in the mood again so here goes

Doug Liman absolutely nailed it as a director, and Matt Damon owned his role from the first scene.

To me, It's a 10/10.

I loved the idea of Bourne struggling to know who he is, and later struggling with what he finds out.

I loved the look of the movie. The snowy cities and houses. Plus it all feels very bleak up until the final scene, where we see a gorgeous Beach, and Jason wearing white.

I love the action, how it somehow moves at light-speed, but you still know exactly what's going on, and are able to follow all of it.

The humor is great in this movie. It gives it a very fun feel that the sequels lacked.

The "happy" ending is just perfect. Very few other action movies can achieve such a badass reputation, yet end with something so heartwarming.

It always will be a classic and the absolute best of the Bourne movies for me.

I personally thought this was the weakest it the three. But that's just my opinion.

Ultimatum being the best.

I finally got around to seeing this last night on TV-was deeply disappointed-made no logical sense from the first scenes onwards.

ive seen this movie at least 8 times and its a 6/10 from me. competent action movie but nothing about it is fantastic.

You watch "at least eight times" a movie you rate 6 ? You sure it doesn't mean you like it more than you think ?

- No. But I'm afraid of you.

It's certainly the weakest of the three, mainly because of the direction. Greengrass really reinvented the series and made it more original. Identity was good but it didn't have that true "Bourne" feel that the other two movies had.

I really enjoyed all three movies. They continue to be my favorite action movies. Having said that they are far from perfect, these bureaucrats that were instructed to find Bourne were completely reactionary.

Logic tells us that Bourne, the best of the best, knew what they were going to do before they did it. In the first movie it should have been even more apparent since they trained him. As Nicky said in the second movie "They don't make mistakes. They don't do random." You just don't underestimate someone like that, and they underestimated him at every turn. The assets did well considering, but the CIA/NSA people continued to treat him as if he wasn't planning ahead. Good chess players can plan ahead multiple moves. That's what Bourne does. They only planned ahead for one move. They never once thought he might have already planned for that.

I watched the movies first, and I love visually stunning movies like this. The combat and chases are also better than anything out there. Then I read the first book. The books are completely different. The first one is good, but I just finished the second book. This one really shows off the skills, planning, and instinct of Bourne. Robert Ludlum is a genius.

I agree. It's a perfect movie. Never mind the riffraff.

I love the films grey European winter vibe and setting. Feels very distinct from typical American action crap.
One of my personal favorite action movies.

Agree. Perfect movie at what it does and one of the most influential of the decade. Every other action/spy/thriller took a little from the Bourne handbook. Remember this came out the same year that Bond hit bottom with Die Another Day. What followed? Casino Royale. It's clear that Bourne helped pave the way for that and many other movies.
