Since Burnham knew the Panic Room phone wasn't hooked up

Wouldn't an easier plan have been for him to call Meg and say "hello this is courtesy call from the Panic Room company, we can see that your Panic Room phone isn't hooked up would you like someone to come out and hook it up for you?" Then when she says yes, he and Junior go (he's disguised as a Panic Room guy) and Burnham hooks up the phone and while he's there he opens the safe and takes the money. All he'd have to say is he may have to drill a hole to connect some wires (that was the case when I had my cable installed), Meg probably wouldn't even know any better.

If that's feasible it sounds a lot easier than breaking into the house.
