Huh. I just watched it for probably the sixth time in 13 years and bumped my rating up to 9.5/10.

Watching it now. The three burglars are clearly not as bright as they think they are and I think I see some inspiration from the Three Stooges in them. Also, this reminds me of a movie called Body Count that Ice T did earlier. Good movie but I kind of wish Forrest Whittaker had gotten away.

The cinematography and direction were decent, but the screenplay was utter garbage. The characters were stereotypical and one dimensional, especially two of the bad guys. So many times characters did things that made no sense, or didn't do things that would have made sense.

Personally I found this movie very frustrating to watch, and wouldn't rate it highly at all.
