Why can't they leave urban legends alone?

This apparent piece of marsupial cr@p is based on a venerable urban legend, which first surfaced in the days of the office notice-board, went on to hop again in the fax era, and has popped up once more as an e-mail gag. It's already been milked by a Gore-Tex advert, and now this. Have some respect, people, think up your own lame ideas.

All the same, it IS impressive to be installed as a short-priced antepost Razzies favourite within 48 hours of opening. Way to go, Bruckheimer.

Urban Legends can't be left alone because they are so much bloody fun. Compulsion. Sick Obsession. Whatever.
Because they're like rumors and secrets...warnings against "bad" behavior and the penalties for being "naughty" or whatever. well, most of them are.
Don't blame the phenomenon of Urban Legends, man. Blame the execution of them.
Now, having said that, i've never heard the one about the kangaroo. and i am in NO way defending this ...movie.
i just dig urban legends.
(the phenomenon, not the film and its sequel.)
