BTW! This is not an international airport. Meaning, they would have two choices - either catch a connecting flight to Alice Springs or rent a car. Since the whole object was to have them dissapear without a trace having them drive a car out into the middle of nowhere makes perfect sense. But then again this wasn't meant to be an intellectual thriller, it's a family movie. And a damn funny one. Okay the kangaroo bits were stupid.
