Kangaroo animatronics and puppets
Hi everyone, maybe a strange question but I'm serious - I was just wondering -- do film companies actually sell props, accessories, requisites and stuff, for example years after a movie was shot? Or do those accesories rot inside some sort of archive and are just collecting dust?
I'm just asking because I would be really be interested to buy one of the (four) kangaroo animatronics / puppets of the movie, made by Neal Scanlan / Underdown Productions (see IMDb credits).
I'm sure they would cost quite an amount of money and are not easy to get one hands on prop like that (without a direct connection to Jerry Bruckheimer *grins*) and that IMDb is not the best contact point for such a question, but I'm trying nevertheless.
Does anybody have an idea or experience with stuff like that? I'm sure on IMDb forums are some movie fans around who have more knowledge about that.
Thanks for any tips and cheers!
