I agree that it would make more money if released now.
That's another reason why I think the original version should be released in some way, either on a dvd or limited theatrical release.
It would be a blast to see Feldman, Langenkamp, Brolin, Forster, Ulrich and even Omar Epps and Scott Foley in another Wes Craven movie! Also, to see what was originally filmed is always fun for the fans. I wonder how the Mandy Moore vs Werewolf in garage and elevator scene compared to the reshot scene with Mya?
They could make a decent bundle of cash I believe if they released this!
