Was the werewolf design different in the original unreleased version?

Anyone know if they had a different body suit and makeup for the creature, or did that remain the same.

I thought the look of the werewolf was about the only good thing about the movie.

originally the three leads (Christina, Skeet, and Jesse Eisenberg) were going to be the ones slowly transforming into werewolves, so there were alot of prosthetics involved and not so much CG. Of course, the studio hated the prosthetics/old-school make up tricks decided to use tons of CG instead. ew.
