How did Skeets character fit in?

As far as I remember, Skeet's character, Vince, is a bad boy from a rich family. He's driving on the road one right, and Ellie (Christina Ricci) is driving the opposite way. The werewolf jumps in front of her car and Ellie ends up hitting Vince's car, which goes off the side of the road. Ellie flags down a passing vehicle, driven by Jimmy (Jesse Eisenberg). Ellie goes down the ravine to check on Vince while Jimmy tries to call for help. Ellie and Vince hear the werewolf and quickly start climbing back to the road, but Jimmy shows up and they are then attacked.

Ellie and Vince start seeing each other. Jimmy goes to school and his family. They all eventually meet back up to talk about the changes they're experiencing.

After Skeet and others couldn't or wouldn't come back for reshoots, Vince was taken out and Joshua Jackson's character was added, Jimmy was turned into Ellie's brother, etc.
