DID OTHER BLACK PEOPLE LIKE THIS MOVIE?

Or was it just me?

reply

I loved it, but I'm curious...what difference does it make?

I mean it sounds as if you're implying that only "white folks" should enjoy the film (which is patently ridiculous) because it's a universal story. Trust me, we're all gonna get older someday, and if we're not careful we may all wind up as Schmidts; whites-Schmidts, blacks-Schmidts and everyone in between-Schmidts.

what has that got to do with anything??? why should the colour of your skin dictate how much you enjoy a movie??????!!!

Let's not get oversensitive, people, it's a valid question; this is a pretty honkyass movie. Alexander Payne is practically the Jack Johnson or Michael Buble of film.

Why does political correctness sh*t always seep it's way into IMDB posts? It's obnoxious.

Why are you worried about the color of people's skin?

Why do you care?
