Knowing this makes this film even more touching and meaningful, albeit in a sad way.
Wow, what a tragic loss. I first watched this film several years ago on TV and had heard something about this but had since forgotten. Now I am just finding this out (again) for the first time.
It really saddens me to watch it again, as I speak it is now screening on TV in the middle of the night; I can never resist seeing it again.
i find this news is even more profound because of the loss she and Martin go through in the film, spoken of so honestly. Watching her again I am beguiled by her charismatic and natural beauty. I find her presence quite ravishing. Now at least she'll live on screen forever. Thanks for your informative and sensitive post.
