shareI cant cay ive seen the old series but after seeing this and reading about stuff on the internet I found out about the old series.
That being said the only change I remember hearing about was that Michelle Rodrigues (sp) character wasnt in the tv series.

I remember watching the TV Series back in the 70s, it was nothing like this. This movie is all 'tarted' up for the younger generation by including all the ghetto street crap, and the rap music. Hondo was a white guy, not Samuel Jackson, Michelle Rodriguez's character didn't exist as there weren't any women in the department, both the original Deke Rod Perry played LL Cool J's dad, and the original Hondo Steve Forrest was the SWAT Truck driver in the movie, but aside from that there were only five regular players, the rest were guest stars like Phil Silvers, Frank Gorshin, or Lesley Ann Warren. All of these new characters in the movie are just add-ons for the new age. My guess is they were hoping to make this into a franchise again, or at least have some sequels, but it stunk so badly at the box office, grossing only 46.6 million over a budget 0f 70 million, that it was never green-lighted for follow-ons.
Does that answer your question?

No he's smart. You're the *beep* dick for not wanting to agree with what he's saying. Grow up, nobody think you're cool for insulting someone, retard.
