Mistake made by TJ and Street...

When TJ and Street were going against each other on the range they messed up when they got to the handgun part.

When they were reloading the took their eyes off the target to load their weapon with another mag.

I'm not a soldier/police officer/SWAT officer, I've just taken a few shooting courses here and there and they always teach you to never take your eyes off your target especially when reloading.

Just a small mistake I noticed.

And yes I know its a movie, a movie I kinda enjoyed.

that would be because they are actors and not actual SWAT operators

Doesn't mean they can't actually learn how to do it right, like Tom Cruise did for Collateral.

reply

Yeah that applies to a real fire fight with somebody who can shoot back. These guys were on a course against targets and can afford to look down if it's quicker / easier. Also they're professionals and can afford to not follow the strict rules that they teach you in "shooting course 101"

In a real firefight you aren't alone. There is always cover fire so you can take cover and reload. One on one, is different though. But hopefully you don't miss with the first magazine and don't have to reload ;)

"Let's get out of here before one of those things kills Guy!"

@benjaminhead Yes, it's a training course, not a real firefight, but isn't the point of the course to act as if it's a real situation?
