Woody playing a 50yr old...

Woody is a complete miscast as a 50yr old man. He looks like he is 75 in this film. Is he so delusional that he thinks he can pass for 50?

For the 1940s? Yeah, he looks 50 by those standards. People looked way older way faster back then.

Yeah. Was just reading about FDR who died in his 50's. He was very old looking when he died.

Yep, every time I watch an older movie the people look super old even if they were younger at the time than I am now!

Trivia says he couldn't find anyone else to pay the part and doesn't like the film because he was forced to play a drive that didn't suit him. I actually found it humorous.

I don't care, he is great in this movie ... no one else could play that role.

i didn't mind. His character agreed in the film that he was too old, too short and was losing his hair... I'm pretty sure he was fully aware that he looked just that way. So what?
