something about this movie just moves me! i remember the first time i saw it, i was in high school in the movie theatre and i just cried like baby! the way jake loves her so much, and you can tell she loves him too... and he waited for her, and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...the scene in the dog cemetary is one of my favourite scenes from any movie... i think its because reese and josh had amazing chemistry.... i LOVEEE this movie!

This was my all time favourite Reese Witherspoon film until I saw her in Just Like Heaven, so now I am split as both bring out the best in her and she looks stunning in both....

I think there are aspects of this movie that are as beautiful and profound as anything I've ever seen in a movie. At the same time, I think it could have been much better made. i'm listening to the director commentary, and he ... well ... he doesn't sound like Sergei Eisenstein.

YES! I always thought of it as a guilty pleasure, just because it's a rom-com and I know it's not getting a Criterion release and it doesn't have any accolades, BUT it's such a sweet little movie. I even randomly just think about it from time to time, like now (I can't remember when was the last time I saw it), which goes to say how much it has touched me.
