Not really certain she's hiding them. I mean, what do you do with trophies and stuff after the event was over and--Melanie's made it clear--they didn't mean much or anything to her?
Was she hiding them, or packing them up? If she's supposedly getting married, perhaps she was packing up her room to take everything to NY with her. Maybe...??
