resemblance to leaud?

Is it just me or does Davies kind of remind anyone else of Jean-Pierre Leaud? Just a thought, I mean if you're going to reference French New Wave what would be better than finding someone who looks like Antoine Doinel?

Yes, he does. That's a good observation. I didn't think of that till you mentioned it and now can't believe I overlooked it, but the thin face, unruly hair and especially the lack of emotional expressions on his face (does he ever laugh or even smile?) certainly do remind me of Leaud.

Hey, I have a friend in France who's a dead ringer for Leaud and the kid's a film student as well. Oddly enough, when I mentioned this to him, he really didn't know who I was talking about, which just goes to show that the French have forgotten all about New Wave cinema. Anyone else experience this with French people?

Sure but how many Americans know who Preston Sturges is? Or take literature, who remembers Saul Bellow anymore?

I am an american that knows who preston sturges is. Unfortunately I also know who paris hilton is too.
