Angela Lindvall
I really like this actress. It looks like she's going to be in another movie in September called 'Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang.'
Does anyone know what else she has been in?

She is more into modeling now. She was recently in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition.
shareShe left a message on the message board for the now defunct unofficial fan site Angela-Lindvall.net
The message board for the site is still available.

I saw CQ recently.
She's a horrible person to have cast as the female lead;
obviously a model and not an actress, with absolutely no charisma,
just a blank smiling face on a size 1 body.
it greatly contributes to a movie's failure if, any time the action
goes to the female lead the audience runs to the exits to escape the
incipient boredom.
jeremy davies, jason schwartzman: amazing actors who can survive these bombs
because theyre actual actors. but this lindvall: she's terrible. and
i guess it showed, since she hasnt gotten work since then.
What, she was amazing. Though I wasn't paying much attention to this rambling waste of time
shareYou state you recently saw a movie 7 yrs after it's release, and in the same post you tell of an audience who's leaving the theater during certain scenes. Hmmm, sounds like bullshat to me since this hasn't played in theatre since 2002.
Making up your own dream sequence and stating it as a point of fact to support your opinion real only supports the reasons as to why your opinion is crap. Congrats!
I thought she was wonderful in this movie and very gorgeous

Lindvall was arguably the most successful of the last generation of fashion industry "supermodels." Although some of her peers like Giselle Bundchen and Adriana Lima are better known to the general public, Lindvall has probably worked more than any of them (in actual fashion modeling as opposed to catalog and bikini jobs like SI and VS) even though her all-American looks (she's from Midwest City, Oklahoma for God's sake) ran counter to the massive influx of exotic-looking South American and Eastern European models who have dominated the last decade and a half.
Lindvall's appeal is much more subtle but obviously very effective. At first glance, she just looks rather "normal." But she's proven to be a kind of cypher or canvas on which art directors and photographers can paint whatever effect they need. As far as I'm concerned, she's proven to be a more than adequate actress. While she'll never challenge Meryl Streep, her work in CQ is exactly what's called for. We're not watching "Dragonfly" after all.
And I for one think she's hot as hell.
Angela Lindvall isn't exactly a world class actress, but she was right for this role. I think Roman Coppola was looking for a blank slate who was capable of exuding sensuality & style...in the same manner actress/model Jane Birkin did in all of those 60s era Euro B movies. Angela had very few lines except the segment in the editing room where she's dubbing dialog. Her role as a mysterious and aloof muse of the infatuated Jeremy Davies is quite touching.
