This movie is a Zen masterpiece. Of all the holocaust movies I've seen, it is the one that really gave me the sense of what it was really like to live in that time and place. The plain reality of it all.
I agree. This is the first Holocaust or WWII film I've seen that makes you feel like you're a part of it. It's a very emotional experience.
