He Was Cooped Up In That Apartment For Such A Very Long Time.....


after he escaped the deportation to an extermination camp. It looked like a boring, uncomfortable and frustrating ordeal, especially when the guy who was supposed to bring him food and other necessities wouldn't show up for long periods of time.

He also couldn't make a sound in order to not alert the neighbors to his presence. I'm surprised he never went totally stir crazy from that "cabin fever" existence. I don't think I'd be able to handle it too well.

I thought the same thing. How did he handle it, especially when he was LOCKED in?!

But I agree with the above poster too: Consider what his choices were.
