I watched this movie On Demand on my cable box and there were no subtitles. If this was an intentional decision by the filmmaker then that's fine (I could assume what they were saying based on body language and what he characters were doing to a certain degree) but if not I feel I may have spoiled important points in the movie.
Anyone out there experience the same thing?

Yes. I was watching it last night on Hollywood Suite here in Canada and there weren't any subtitles there either. I hadn't seen the movie since it came out so I couldn't remember. My father was with me and he was pretty sure they were supposed to be there.

Hilarious, I am watching it on Hollywood Sweet(as we speak) as well and there are no subtitles. I actually have the DVD which does have subtitles. Not sure why they aren't included for this version(only left it on because this is a widescreen version)

The Exorcism of Emily Rose is one I've noticed several times.
It always had subtitles, especially during the exorcism scenes. Yet the movie channels are all missing them.

it was broadcasted yesterday on Arte ( a french-german channel) and there were 3 audio tracks: french/german/english and 3 subtitles available as well (not just the few subtitles from the germans, but subtitles for every line..) so I guess it was a technical problem that you experienced.
