Cell?

Did any other Brits watching this find it really wierd the way Natasha Richardson said 'cell' when talking about her mobile? It she's British, she should have said 'mobile'. Was it just a scripters' mistake?

Maybe she said "cell" because she's been living and working in America? Or maybe the script writers put it in because most Americans aren't aware of British terms so wouldn't have known what "mobile" meant.
