What part did Bob Hoskins play in the film?

Yeah, I could tell that from the credits list. I meant - what was Lionel's role in the film? (for instnace: JLo's long lost lover).

he plays the head butler who helps j-lo's character a bit it's a small role

Hoskins was Lionel, who I believe was like the concierge of the hotel...he seemed to be in charge of all maid service and room service activities. I really enjoyed Hoskins' performance in this film. He added a nice air of class to the proceedings.
