It was a pleasant way to spend an hour and a half...but I'm used to a much more intelligent movie from Ralph Fiennes....Still, it was kind of refreshing to see him in something light and breezy...So, yeah, I liked it.

I think it's the one and only rom-com he's ever done and probably ever likely to do and I reckon he's pretty good in it.🐭

I like this movie. I gave it a 6. It was better than Enough. I was kind of surprised that it only got a 4.6 from the other IMDB voters.

You know what? i loved this movie soooooo much, I love jennifer lopez she is so inspiring. She is my idol I love all her work. Its a girly movie true, well it is kinda based on Cinderella. Either you like this kinda movie or you dont.

I really liked the movie too. It's not the smartest film you'd ever see but it's good after a weekend where you had a lot of stuff to do. And I think it deserved a 6 not a 4.

I liked this movie, too. It's not something I would buy on DVD but it's really nice.
I don't think people have the right, to talk so bad about a movie, just because it's considered "light".

I don't think people have the right, to talk so bad about a movie, just because it's considered "light".
Well it was probably more that there were things that people didn't like such as Marisa's character, JLo's acting, that there was no romantic chemistry between Marisa and Chris, Bob Hoskins got a small role of little value, Ralph Fiennes was lacking in this romantic comedy (his first romantic comedy and first sell-out, I hear), and the lack of originality for the story, even if it is a romantic comedy. Of course, maybe that wasn't enough to have it qualify as a let-down to you.

i have seen this movie at least 15 bilion times. i was obsessed with it. one time it was the choice of film or a charity film night at my school, and i literally said every single line of the movie, which, as you can imagine, REALLY annoyed all my friends who were with me. so then i mouthed all the lines (sad, i know) because i just love the movie too much. my favourite bit is when marisa was told by lionel to go to the ball and break it off, and when marisa's colleages come in and they all end up dancing. argh, there are just a milion things that i love about this movie. i also like the bit when caroline and chris are having lunch and chris stormed into the kitchen to ask lionel what the hell happened, and he didn't even realise marisa is right in front of his face...ha ha. oh i really crave watching it again.

I'm loving it too. Just popped on to see if that was Ralph Finnes - he's lovely. Oooh it's back on. It's very "Pretty Woman" and I loved that film too. Oh and who said Jennifer Lopez can't act. I think she's totally believable, unlike Richardson.
