The movie shows at least 15 alien species and I was wondering if they had names in any of the supplementary material like the Photo Gallery or Special Effects featurette on the DVD. Or maybe in the novelization. If any of you own the DVD or the novelization, can you check for me please?

I've looked on the Barnes and Noble website which shows the entire DVD menu for Evolution. The aliens are given names in the Photo Gallery section:

Bird
Crab
Dog
Dragonfly
Flatworm

Well as a collective all the aliens are known as the "Genus" according to the cartoon.
