I Fell In Love With This Film.

It was summer 2001 and I was in a quaint coastal suburban town in Cornwall, England. I was on holiday from Scotland with my family. I was twelve years old.

We found a little movie theatre. I remember spilling my popcorn but ANYWAYS...

I sat in the wee theatre and I watched Evolution. I was already a big X-Files fan, watched that show constantly as a kid. I'd heard of Sean William Scott too. American Pie was all the rage.

It was made by the same guy that directed Ghostbusters.

I was in!

I remember loving the story, the action, the character interaction. The chemistry between Orlando Jones and David Duchovney was golden, and the refreshing zest of Sean William Scott was so welcome.

The catchy tunes were fun too and helped create this fresh, light, yet invigorating atmosphere to the film.

For 24 months I would quip quotes from this film and incorporate the humour into my shenanigans.

It was just lovely. It really was a film the whole family could enjoy.

Hard to believe that was all a decade ago.

I have to admit,if today was my first time viewing I am not sure I'd love it so much ... however, I strongly believe I would.

For me, this film was 2001 and I can't understand why anyone would disagree.

I was already an adult when this movie came out, and I loved it. Actually, I think I like it more every time I watch it. It's on my short list of movies that I can watch anytime!

Man me too. I love this movie and never understood why everyone hated it and why critics deemed it so awful. Personally I find this Lovie more fun and more entertaining than a lot of the movies critics deem a spectacular movie. Also the leads were great in this. Plus cool looking aliens and probably the biggest product placement in cinematic history! What's not to love.
