If you are talking about the song that is played while Maris is holed up in his hotel room in Baltimore, it is "Nobody Knows Me" from the album (CD) called "Lyle Lovett & His Large Band". Highly recommend it.
If you are talking about the generic instrumental song that appears throughout the film, it is called "Heart" by Richard Adler & Jerry Ross. This song also appeared in the 1958 film "Damn Yankees", and it was in the Neil Simon film "Only When I Laugh". Adler & Ross were responsible for the big hit "Whatever Lola Wants (Lola Gets)", also from "Damn Yankees". They also wrote the songs from 1957's "The Pajama Game". Finally, Richard Adler's song "Rags To Riches" was featured on the 1990 film "Goodfellas". Phew!! What else?
