Roomies?
Just curious - does anyone know if Mickey and Maris really lived together durign the 61 season, or was that just dramatic license? It's amazing how different the world was for baseball players back then. My husband grew up in a middle class suburb of Washington, D.C., in the 60s, and he had a neighbor who was a Washington Senator. What a difference a few decades (and Curt Flood!) make!!
