The actresses to play the Judy's were wonderful. It's the supporting cast I have problems with. Especially the children. Of all the Liza look alikes in the world they picked the one that looked the least like her. And the girl who played young Laura was a joke. Also, why did they not mention Valley of the Dolls? They just skipped it.

The Liza when Judy passes on looks soo much like her. Not the teenage one. She did sorta look like her, but not enough. And no Victor, as much as I love him, did not look like Sid. He looked like Victor.
When I first saw the movie, I was a little 14 year old girl who adored Judy, as I do now. And from the moment Tammy looked up as Dorothy. My breathe got taken out. I was like "oh good god. It is Judy...it is" like she was really there. They were amazing as Judy. Just I can't believe it.

It's true that Victor Garber doesn't really resemble Sid, but it was still a rock solid performance, one of Victor's best.
