would anyone care to list the exact differences between the unrated and rated versions? like what exactly is added?

shareIt's hard to tell unless you see both. Some unrated movies just add some stuff that had to be removed before they could show it in the theaters. Some add a lot more things that were cut.
The best of those unrated ones are also called Directors Cut those leave alot more if they are also Unrated versions.
can you be more specific i saw the r rated version on the showtime the other day. and was intrested in buying the dvd so what extra footage is added in what sceens
shareI saw the cut asian version on TV weeks ago...and actually I didn't know that there's an "uncut" version before I came here... it is from this msg board that I found out there r many sex scenes in the original..
then I bought the dvd and watched the other version yesterday..after watching it, I was surprised that some people here said the movie is "nothing but sex"~ it is so not true... it is a good thriller still~ and about the difference of the two versions, I can tell u some here..
there is one important scene which tells how Alice finds out where Adele is buried in the uncut version~ that is really an important plot but the cut version didn't have it..that makes the ending a bit confusing...
but at the same time, there is another important scene missing in the "uncut" version... that is the scene where Alice went to the police station after running away from Adam... and then Adam went to the police with a pair of shoes for Alice...that scene really shows the love of Adam to Alice ,and you'll start to suspect that Adam is not the "killer"...that makes the movie even more exciting and romantic... but in the "sex" version, this scene is cut... I'm disappointed..
after all, everything in the movie, from house decoration to Alice's costumes and hairstyles.... everything is very very beautiful and elegant, I think Director Chen has really good taste~~
Actually, ok, I rented the movie first, so I saw the unrated. But I saw the movie for $6.99, as the "unrated" version, so I bought it.
The unrated version has a few more humps as I like to put it. The scene where Adam ties Alice to the anchor, a few more humps and he gets on top of her first before he picks her up and they are standing having sex. It's just a few more humps... does that sound weird? :D
Now Roc, are you sure you're going to be...Obie Kaybie?
