the scene where a guy takes Alice's purse and runs off, and Adam sees this and pursues him.

Didnt catch it, but was Alice meant to meet Adam there? and is it possible that Adam arranged it/paid that guy that he robs her so that he can look like a hero to her? or am I reading it too much there?

I think its really weird how after he almost kills the guy, he starts kissing Alice........she does look shocked at what he done, however he looks possessed, even thou yea, the whole of the movie he is like that and very suspecting.

He didnt arrange it.

The point of the scene was that he acted spontaneously. It showed that he is passionate and that he has the capacity for extreme violence.

ROFL yeah he paid the guy to let him bash his head in with a phone booth. From what I saw she was with her friend and she just told her that she was going to meet him. For that to have been setup then they would have let the audience in on it by making a big deal of it. Ie like her walking home unexpected and catching him paying the guy off (love to hear the conversation on that one). No I think that was actually spontaneous.
