This movie did not address the core issue of incest properly and rather focused the story elsewhere. Incest is one dirty, immoral, filthy side of our society and both male/female children are victims to it. It’s time we rather address the serious issue rather than sweeping it under carpet. It would have been better if writer put some more focus on this touchy subject and how it is immoral.

I agree with you but there are some cases that are consider consensual between the parties by consent I mean no coercions of any kind.
There is a brother and sister in Germany who are fighting to get their three children back from social services who took them from their parents. They say they are in love.
It's been awhile since I read the book but I'm pretty sure that wasn't in there. And the killer is different from book to movie as well.
