How to gain an unfair advantage of levels on the first disc.
This is not a trick, this is mereley a small help, it might be very difficult to make though.
First. you have to make yourself as far to after Lindblum. pickup "Quinna"
walk around the forest to the east of Gizmaluke's cavern. then you are bgound to run into a enemy called" Mandragora" but beware! they are some evil sons of bitches! however, the point is to get Quinna to eat one of those. cause she/he learns the blue magic , "Limit glove" and that is a very VERY helpfull spell.
It makes damage depending on how low Quinna's HP is. so if Quinna's HP is just "1" the limit glove skill damages 9999!.
1. Make sure you have ALOT of phoenix downs.
2. Make sure Freya has the abilty "Counter"
3. Having the "yellow scarf" on Quinna will give her/him gillionaire!
okay, now to the acctuall fight, complete Gizmaluke's cavern. all the way to the final room. but DO NOT enter. instead. save your game at the Mogle couple. and head up the ladder
Once up stairs. head to the grass plains, do not walk in forest. eventually, you will run into the only enemy up here. a Grand dragon. now that is one Tough SOB!
They are all lvl 60! and awards like 8800 Exp to each character per kill!
the trick is. to use Limit glove TWICE during one match. since the dragon has like 13.000 HP if I remember correctly.
But Beware! the dragons are very VERY pissed up there! they do EVERYTHING to make sure you die in ONE attack.
If you DO manage to slay one dragon, the characters lvl will rise. pretty high. and if you do have Gillionaire, they award around 4000 gil aswell( pretty handy in treno)
Grand dragon, Lvl 60
attacks:
Thundaga( either on all yer characters or on a simple target, BLOODY DANGEROUS!)
Venom breath( if you have antibody, yer immune to this)
normal attack( when you lvld a bit and get high HP; you might live one of this
Poison claw( nuthing toworry about, its alot better he uses this, than thundaga!)
make sure you prior to use Limit glove before you throw phoenix downs!
hope it helps!
