Oh good God, I am not judging Rapunzel based simply on my past experience. I have spent a long time watching the things that he says and then had my own email session with him over the course of a month and a half. At the end of all of that, I have my own thoughts about him. I do not judge everyone based on my history....as a matter of fact, I am rather nonjudgemental. My own personal experience with pedophilia helped lay the pathway for my self-destructive character, which led to a whole myriad or issues as a way to cope with that. If I have a way to save some other child from the pain and crap that I went through, I will do it. In this case, it meant trying to help Taylor see that he could use the help.
