Vince Vaughn should not do serious movies/roles! He is so perfect in comedies not dramas. Did not like him in this movie at all, movie wasn't that great anyway though.

I disagree, I think Vince Vaughn needs to do BOTH comedies and dramas and also a variety of movies. He has been in some horror movies such as Psycho and The Cell but he is great in a drama. When I saw him in this, sinc eI got the movie for christmas I was shocked to see how good he was in this but I heard somewhere that this movie cost him to go downhill, I wonder if that's true or just a tabloid lie? My family and I loved him in this movie, hehe playing the wicked stepfather lol that was an awesome role for him.

I agree. I only saw Vince in comedy movies before this. Kind of wish I hadn't come accrost this movie when I was channel surfing. Not that he was bad in it or anything... I'm just used to seeing him being funny.

The reasons why people don't like Vince in serious films is because people will laugh at what he is saying, even if it isn't that funny. He isn't really that bad at the serious films. IMO, I'd rather watch him in comedies.

It was the opposite effect for me. The first movie I saw him in was Psycho and then DD. I considered him an incredible bad guy afterward. His face seemed so dark and creepy. Next thing i know he's a funny man.

Very odd for me. I like him regardless.

He can't take him seriously. Like for instance, when he telling off the kid when they are playing catch, I start laughing. Hysterically.

Domestic Disturbance was the first ever film i saw Vince in, and now .. whenever i see a film which stars him (mostly comedies)i find it hard to believe that people think he's funny, I get the creeps from him!

It's his eyes i think, the way they just stare at you...
