Roger Ebert hated this

I actually liked it. I remember watching this a few times when I was a kid. It sure is far from perfect, and cliche-ridden with some unrealistic things, but I was still somewhat entertained by it. It was like a daytime TV movie, but stepped up a few notches. And I think that's an overall good thing. It wasn't a total failure, and not worth putting it in his book of movies that suck.

Yeh I mean there really wasn't anything THAT bad about it. Since you're here, did you notice how ,any deleted scenes are in the trailer? I know that happens, but this one takes the cake. Half the scenes aren't even in the film.

reply

Yeah I think I recall the movie not showing many scenes from the trailer. It's been years since I've seen it though

What's frustrating is the DVD doesn't even include all the deleted scenes. Reindeer games did the same thing. Tons of scenes nowhere to be found.

I don't think he hated it so much as thinking it is just so very pedestrian. It is, but it's one of those fairly by the numbers thrillers, which don't overstay their welcome, that I don't mind watching once in a while.🐭
