Not very scifi at all. There's a helicopter in one scene. In another scene there's foot preserved in a jar of formaldehyde. That's about as science as it gets, I think.

Science fiction covers such a broad range, you can't say it's no sci-fi simply because there's no science involved. Just read JG Ballard's novels; very often they are categorized as science fiction yet a recurring theme is nihilism and the individual consumed by society. This film reminded me a lot of Ballard's work actually.
