(Possible Good News) Soul Food Season 2 DVD In 2007

I got an email this morning from a site which gives a heads up on new dvd releases which i will paste below.

Hi Africanfusion,

There is word that "Soul Food - Season 2" maybe
coming to DVD during the 1st Quarter of 2007. This
is tentative, but we will keep you posted on any
news news for this show.

So by the looks of things the chances of the rest of the soul food series dvds finally being released has gone up and the fans are finally being taken seriously.

WOW thats great BUT it is weird that it took so long because everyone know Soul Food is like the #1 African American Show. I was shocked that even TV shows below Soul Food got DVDs of the 1st, 2nd and even 3rd seasons

What was the reason for the other seasons not coming out?(its unbelievable to me!) I mean there is No reason to justify this Lol

I really got tired of watching the Fake Version on BET lol

I have been waiting sooooooo long. I need to see it to believe it.

I can't believe how Season 1 ended, and then they take so long to release Season 2. That's torture!!

Please, let this be true. I've been waiting on Soul Food (the remaining seasons) to be released for a few years now. I watched it on Showtime from day one and never missed an episode until the end (the only reason I subscribed to Showtime; and when SF ended, I canceled it). The BET watered-down versions are okay, but absolutely not the real deal. I plan to buy this entire series, if they just quit dragging their feet and release the doggone DVD.

So bottom line is someone figured out we weren't going to stop asking and they'd be best served to release the dang DVD? Paramount, whoever, needs a good kick in the behind on this one...but I guess better late than never.

But how many years before Season 3? At this rate, I'll be telling my great grandkids to download Season 5 into their brain chips so they'll have something to enjoy on their voyage to Mars.

Lmao, wow, I just wrote the people at SHOWTIME demanding/asking for them to release the rest of the seasons on DVD. I was about to start a petition. Well, hopefully I'LL know exactly when soon enough, being that I work at a well known DVD store/department in NYC.

Wonderful! I too have been waiting for the remaining seasons to come out on DVD. This has to be the best African American show in history! It depicts black families as they really are, it's no wonder we are all craving for more. I hope Paramount, Showtime or whomever comes through!
