In the movie they NEVER mentioned that Miles was the only man she ever married.
So in the show we learn that she has 2 ex-husbands. She married Russel before Miles I guess
In the movie, when Teri and Maxine were arguing, Big Mama told Teri, "You're already on Husband #2."
shareI was just getting ready to mention that!!! LOOL! Folks gotta go back to the original movie "Soul Food" and listen carefully and stuff. Big Mamma says "Teri you need to worry about your own husband, you're already on husband #2". The series picked up with that and worked around it.
