Kenny's Tow Shop Offer + Other Loose Ends

When Kenny sold his shop, the guy gave him an extra $250K (or $200K) on top of the initial deal. What was the initial deal for his shop? It's been so long, but how did Lem initially get introduced to Baron?

I miss the show a lot; it reminded me of my two sisters and me, and the acting was superb (and it didn't hurt that the male actors are hot). I wish they hadn't cancelled it, but most paid-for TV channels choose to not run series for too long (save for Sopranos). I know Girlfriends has been for what it seems forever; however, I thought Soul Food was far superior (not to say Girlfriends was bad).

They never did mention the initial offer. On tv, many shows don't mention amounts of money they pay for different items. They'll sometimes hold a check and look at it and say, "Wow, that's a lot of money", but never say the amount (I have no idea why).

Now, if I remember correctly, Lem wanted to get into some business developing in the neighborhood and do a "revitalization" (as many call it), and Baron was a black business developer in that area. So, he went to present Baron with a deal (or proposal) with some ideas he had for developing in the 'hood. Lem proved himself and Baron liked him.
