Good but not Great! Like Season 1

The way Season 2 dvd is made up, isnt as good of quality as it was in Season 1 box set. Season 1 box set was set up in an unique box like manner, whereas Season 2 box set was just an ordinary multi cd case. In Season 1, the production quality was greater for expample: Before each episode on Season 1, they had a "last time on Soulfood" segment which reminded the viewer or previous episodes, Season 2 doesent have this! And on Season 1,the cd was made as if you were watching a televison series(not too much dvd promo), TOO ME, Season 2 cd was made as a t.v series on dvd. Did anyone else notice these minor comparisons? P.S I read somewhere where the scene when Damon confronts Christine's parents were edited out, it wasnt on my dvd. Neither was a few muscial acts, such as Jon B. and India Ari (both on my dvd).

I remember the Jon B episode. So does that mean they didnt show Bird and Lem dancing to Jon B's song? - that will really suck

No, otengk...let me state more clearly, The Jon B performance WAS included on my DVD(and YES they showed Lem and Bird dancing to him) and so was India Arie's performance.

Gaboi, the scenes you mentioned ARE included in season 2 dvd. That scene where Damon goes to Christine's parents (after she commits suicide) is editted out of the BET version. I used to hate when that episode aired, b/c I knew that scene was deleted and since they took so long to release season 2, I was wondering if I'd ever see it again. However, there are several musical guests that do not appear on the season 2 set (Blu Cantrell is one of them). I agree, I think season 2 box set was "thrown together". Season 1 was put together much better.
