LAST SEASON DVD
When do u guys think that the last season will finally be released on dvd??
I've been waiting 4 so long. Anyone have a good guess?
The 3rd and 4th season JUST got released, so it might be a little while. If anything, I'm curious at how well the 3rd season sold. The DVD for the 5th season all depends on how well the 3rd season sold. So buy all the season DVDs(not from eBay or anything but from an official sell like Amazon or something) and cross your fingers.

Seasons 3 & 4 were only 10 episodes each, so they combined them so we can get more money worth. If the sales were good then we'll be getting season 5 in no time. share

Paramount Home Entertainment has announced, that Soul Food - The Series: The Final Season, will be available for DVD on July 8th, 2008. The DVD set will feature the final 14 episodes from the 4th and Final Season, for a total runtime of 741 minutes.
Soul Food - The Series: The Final Season will have audio tracks in English (Stereo Surround) and will be presented in Fullscreen.
It's the 5th season, not the 4th.

Either way the last season is released this coming july.
Oh, well, I guess that's true. I guess that's why they're calling it "final" season instead putting a number title on it. Which, I can't complain too much because I love that we got 2 seasons in one.
sharealso, if you google soul food and look at the wikipedia article, it gives a list of dates for series releases. It says that season 5 or the last season will be released on July 8th, 2008.

The sad part is, I don't think anybody really had the right answer as to what happened to season 4. I just finished watching the THIRD season, which was not a compilation of 3-4, so someone is sadly mis-informed.
Would anyone happen to know if the Final Season DVD is inclusive of FOUR and FIVE? As I have gone on Netflix and Amazon and have yet to see Season Four. Yet, I see the proposed date of the Final Season's release. So I am wondering if that is the combination of the two seasons?

My guess would be why they boxed Seasons 3-4 together was because the long streched delay they did when they released Season 1 and 2...and it was a long stretched btw those release dates...i think maybe 1-2yrs.
