What does Billy tell Brenda when she dies on the series finale?

Hi, loved the series finale, especially the final montage but does anybody understand the words that Billy is telling Brenda when she dies? Supposedly he "bores her to death" (jokingly) and apparently he is talking about Claire. If anybody understands what Billy is saying would be appreciated. Thank you.

I forget the exact words, but the gist of it is that they're still wrestling with the exact same issues that they have been all the time we've seen them. Nothing at all has changed.
