The Acting... Peter Krause.. and the ending

I thought he was fantastic. And was an excellent focal point within a stellar ensemble cast. I don't know how this guy isn't more famous.

I thought the ending needed a better song to go out with though. Sia... really? I mean it's a song about cutters. The writers should've considered so many of my hits from the eighties and nineties. I think a far more fitting song to go out with in the finale was my underground hit, "Can I Touch You There?" Now that would've made the series.

Respectfully, you might be a lone wolf on that one regarding the finale song. We don't care what it's about. That song juxtaposed with those visuals bring about Niagra Falls to the eyes of nearly everyone that watches it.

I disagree about the final song as I think it was perfect.

However, you're right about Peter Krause. He was especially good in the last two seasons where he's tired of being married to Lisa, feeling tied down with the baby, and ends up going to a bar, picking a fight with a stranger, taking home a tramp, dealing with everything else around him. You could see his character was in a downward spiral and Krause just played it perfectly.

I'm currently rewatching it and finding myself attached to Nate much more this time around. Krause's performance comes across as very real, honest, and raw. It's sad that he was never able to escape the fate he tried to run from his whole life.
