sharei looked for clues, it's hard to tell. you would think she'd have had a briefcase of samples or something if she was working, and i don't know what type of relationship she has with this doctor but it seemed the secretary wasn't really treating her as if she were a business associate, like instead of the 'dr'sready to see you' she would have said 'bob's ready'.
I don't think she was pregnant. If she was working as a pharmaceutical rep, it was entirely appropriate for the secretary to say "the doctor" will see you now.
