Ruth Season 2 Episode 5 : The Invisible Woman

Really liking the series so far ! There are a lot of life lessons in Six Feet Under [one of the reasons why i respect the show so much] !
But did anyone else feel very sorry for Ruth when she asks her kids for some intimacy and at the end of the episode when she cries while looking at her children's childhood pictures ! I cried with her too maybe cause i lost my mom few months ago but i feel like it was portrayed very beautifully and tragically here

Oh absolutely. Ruth is the one character I constantly find myself feeling sorry for. She's not perfect, but she's a loving caring mother, and the way she tries to connect with her children and fails nearly every time, that's just heartbreaking for me to watch.

Btw I'm shocked by so much hate for Ruth among 6FU fans, so many people call her crazy, unbearable, annoying etc, I feel like they're not getting what the character is about at all.

Just watched the finale today and i sympathize and like Ruth even more I don't know what the heck the ruth haters were watching !
No one on this show was perfect and thats what made this show so great and relatable if there is someone i didn't like ! it was Nate Jr and Lisa
