can i just say..
this film is so amazing. it's my top five movies of the last decade. for a movie with such critical acclaim, why didn't it have a wider release? i can't even buy it on dvd..

I saw the film on a rented DVD a few years ago. I agree with you that it deserves wider recognition.
It's one of my all time favourite films. Such a shame that so few people have heard of it
I tend to think American History X also overshadowed it a little.
