John Francis Daley's character

He was a kid being bullied around. Then it was discovered that he had created a "hit list" and a girl was very concerned about it because she turned him down for a date. During his meetings with Harper and Guber and Big Boy and the Superintendant, Guber was amazed at how articulate and good at debate he is. Guber recruited him for the debate team, but The Dragon Lady (i.e. superindendant) decided to transfer him. I liked Anthony Ward.

Oh, yeah, Harper taught him a little karate move to defend himself. Anthony taught it to a student he was tutoring and that student used it to break the arm of Malcolm White (Zachary Ty Brian from Home Improvement).
