Best '2.7 Rated' movie on IMDB that I have ever seen

I just saw this movie and I have to say after all the crap going on in professional sports (assaults, steroids, rapes, gumball-marketing, paid hits, salary disparity, etc.) right now, I thought this movie was a pretty good, albeit CHEESY, parody/rant on where modern professional sports are headed.

Obviously the sport, plot, script, etc. is ridiculous and I understand why most people hate this movie and I do wish that the studio execs would have kept their hands off this re-make and let the "message" of what is wrong with many pro sports come through more stongly.

And for Jean Reno, I thought he was a horrible villian in this movie.

The biggest obstacle for many is the cinematic quality of the original.

I don't think this film was great, but I do think it was better than 2.7, and I can think of many movies on this site that I hate more than this. I haven't seen the original except for about 20 minutes last week, and I didn't really care for it all too much either. Not sure whether I would choose this one or the original until I see all of the original.
